I love to use the Couchsurfing platform ( www.couchsurfing.org ) in lesser travelled countries of the World. I feel traveling this way gives you a real, unfiltered glimpse into everyday life, making it richer and more memorable through that common reference of living with someone who’s just trying to create a good life for themselves. Iran had been a country I had aspiration to travel in for sometime and I had heard such positive stories of the warmth, openness and hospitality of the Iranian people, I thought I would try and couchsurf my whole trip there. Turns out the stories did no justice to reality of the incredible Iranian people, one of my favourite countries I have ever had the pleasure to travel through
